We have many fun and exciting activities planned for the Summer Reading Program, including craft workshops, a “Last Chance” Book Discussion Lunch on August 30th , Video Game Cafes, a Movie Night, Board Game Cafes, a Game Show Night, a Book Buddies program in July through which you can earn community service credit, weekly prize drawings, and a grand closing party on Thursday, September 2nd with magician Bob McEntee for those registrants who have read at least two books. There will be grand prize drawings at the party for a Sony Reader, Barnes & Noble Gift Certificates and other great prizes. You can also earn an extra chance in the grand prize drawings by reading at least 500 pages. Read 800 pages and earn two extra chances! For each 100 pages over 800 you earn an additional chance. You must submit at least 10 book or audiobook reviews to be eligible to win the Sony Reader.

 

Register at either building in Adult Reference beginning Monday June 21st . Pick up a set of review forms when you register. You may also register online at Here. After you submit your first review, come in to pickup your Summer Reading Goody Bag! If you can't make it in to the Library, feel free to submit your reviews online at Here.
